ID Theft: To Be, That Is Special
February 19th, 2008 · Filed Under: Identity Theft Videos · Medical Identity Theft
My lifelong best friend had the saying, To Be, That Is Special, embossed on a silk screen in her living room for the last 35 years. That saying still has a special sentiment and meaning for me even though she passed away two years ago from metastatic breast cancer.
Each one of us is special. We hope that others will respect who we are as well as our special skills, talents, hopes and dreams. To think that anyone would violate our personal boundaries down to the very core of our being is beyond unforgivable; it’s reprehensible.
This is why I take Identity Name Theft so personally. It is personal. For someone to try to pass herself off as me, to step into my professional life, to attempt to raid my personal assets through Credit Fraud, to overlay her medical history and records over mine which could cost me my life, that is the basest violation of my being that strikes down to my core.
Identity Theft is a very real crime being perpetuated throughout the world in epidemic proportions while advertisers are omitting some of the most critical information you need to protect yourself. I urge you with every fiber of my being to take an intense look at what’s being offered in the marketplace today, and dig deep. Get a real education on how credit monitoring is totally insufficient to protect you and your family. There are alternative methods.
There is a solution for protecting your entire identity including your good name, your medical records, and more, not just your credit. There is help to restore your total identity instead of assistance in a box. And if you’re in the throes of identity theft at the moment, there is help to take this awesome burden off your shoulders.

P.S. The worst part of all is, if someone has identification bearing your name and their picture, they may be allowed to use your medical insurance since you cannot count on what any individual employee may decide. Identity Monitoring is the key to protecting you and your family.
