About Us

Hi,
This is Nancy, just to give you a little background on who I am and why I started this blog. First, I started this blog with the purpose of consumer awareness and education. I’m outraged and horrified by the advertisements I see whether on TV, the Internet, or printed media regarding credit monitoring. Monitoring your credit is not the answer to full identity protection.
Being a court reporter for more years than I care to remember, I listened to endless hours of testimony. Criminals are creative in how they rob their victims believing they’ll never get caught. Nowadays, a really creative thief can steal your identity stolen instead of robbing you at gunpoint. While neither situation seems ideal, it certainly lessens the probability of violence.
In any event, I first heard about identity theft back in 1986, when I first moved to Florida. The victim was a teacher. He was unable to even get utilities in his name because the thief infiltrated every aspect of his financial life. He was forced to cash his paycheck and carry large amounts of cash for groceries, gas, and get money orders to pay his bills. Every time he opened a checking or savings account, the money would be gone in an instant. No one could help him. He spent the better part of five years getting everything straightened up only to be violated again and again by the identity thief.
Now, 22 years later, Identity Theft runs rampant not only in the USA but around the world. My partner and I found a solution to assist consumers who desire to protect their credit, their assets, and their good names. You can only do all three with Identity Monitoring, not Credit Monitoring. Period.
I’m not saying that you can prevent Identity Theft, because that would be untrue. However, you can be alerted within 24 to 48 hours if something is running afoul in any part of your identity whether it be someone applying for a driver’s license in your name, someone using your medical benefits, and so on. These are the types of crimes that are largely untraceable that can wreck your life, until NOW.
Therefore, please take the time to look around the blog, especially the Identity Theft Podcasts. Each podcast lasts between 5 and 7 minutes and gives a wealth of information. There is a transcript of each broadcast for your reference. You may pass these pdf documents along to friends and family who you would like to protect.
One last thing I urge you to think about is protecting your elderly family members. Due to life’s circumstances, declining energy levels, oxygen levels, and general health, the elderly are most vulnerable to identity theft. My mom gave up anything that anyone asked for over the phone as she was too tired to think in her last 6 months of fighting cancer. The sick, frail, and elderly could easily find their social security benefits, medical benefits, and savings gone in a heartbeat. Check out the information on this blog for yourself and particularly for any elderly person you claim as a dependent who lives with you as I have some exciting information for you.
In closing, I do hope that you find something on this blog to help you determine the best course of action and protection for you and your family. Should you have any questions, please do not hestitate to contact me.
Your Identity Protector,
